He's got a big one! Man ice fishing!
It's ironic...

Tree at night 2
These colors are just from the light pollution, and therefore are "natural" (aka, not shopped).
Throughout the 142 second exposure I either walked up to the tree and flashed my flash at
the tree or "painted" the tree with my LED headlamp at it to try to lighten it a bit. You can
see the shadow of Finster on the trail to the right.

Finster swimming in 14 degree winter!
I took Finster for a walk in the woods on Saturday at the fishing site on Oatka
Creek. He loves this place in the Summer. Apparently, he thought it was warm
enough for a dip and jumped right in. He was in for about a minute or two and
then jumped out and ended up with an iced up belly (below). He never shivered
or whined about the cold. The tolerance of these dogs is amazing!

Tree at night.
I took my camera with me to re-shoot my favorite tree. The previous night I lugged
my camera/tripod all the way out there (about 1 mile through a snowy field) and
my camera battery was dead. This night I brought 3 freshly charged batteries just in
case. These colors are just from the light pollution, and therefore are "natural"
(aka, not shopped). Throughout the 235 second exposure I either walked up
to the tree and flashed my flash at the tree or "painted" the tree with my LED
headlamp at it to try to lighten it a bit. Notice the 3 small lines on the right;
I'm not sure what those are, my guess is that it's my headlamp, but it could be a
ufo!

Finster's favorite!
I still haven't been able to take a good picture of Finster and his Jolly ball, and I've
had plenty of opportunity (I have about a million Finster/Jollyball shots on my
hard drive). This one is ok, but not exactly what I'm looking for.

Haunted Trees in field LeRoy, NY
I see these trees just about every day walking the snowmobile trail in the field
behind my house, and this is the first time I've shot them. The clouds were perfect!

Door to hell
This is my wife's new favorite picture. Taken in LeRoy, NY on the side of the now vacant Mr. Seconds/Family Dollar building. The first time I walked past this I didn't notice the door, but it certainly adds to the picture! Oddly enough, this building is painted pink on the sides and back for some reason.
