Sister - Blood Hound - Present Tense - Batavia, NY
This is Sister, one of the dogs that Jeff Schettler, author of Red Dog Rising brought to the book signing at Present Tense, the book store in Batavia, NY. She is a sweet tempered blood hound and wanted nothing but pets and attention! The author, and his crew were extremely knowledgeable, and gave a great presentation!

Picasaweb and Flickr displaying photos differently than I see on my home computer
For the past 5 years I have been thinking that Flickr and Picasaweb have been "doing something" to my photos when I upload them which was causing the colors to look less saturated, and somewhat boring.
I did a Google search and found several board threads where other users were finding the same issue. Determined to get to the bottom of this I kept digging only to find out it was myself that was at fault. Eventually I found a thread that said that most browsers don't understand the Adobe RGB 1998 Color Space! Bingo!
So I went back to my Photoshop CS2 settings and sure enough I'm defaulted to Adobe RGB.
