Here are before and after shots of our "doubling-of-the-garden" weekend. It wasn't supposed to take the whole weekend but after I got done weed-eating the crown vetch I found our big piles of rock that we moved from the yard when we originally planted grass. These wonderful piles of rock had weeds growing up around them which made them even more fun to relocate. I ended up getting out my pick-axe to break up the piles of rock and compacted dirt, and then moved them into our stream. Hopefully I'll never have to do that again :) Now our 2nd garden is full of sweet corn!
